Medicare Medicare offers a rebate for 5 sessions per calendar year. You will need to talk to your GP to see if your child is eligible for a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan. Private Health Depending on your level of cover, you may be eligible for a rebate on Speech therapy services. Please consult your health fund to discuss this. NDIS funding Prestons Speech Pathology is able to see Plan Managed and Self Managed clients with NDIS funding.

You do not need a referral to see a Speech Pathologist. If your child is eligible for a CDM plan (see rebates and funding), you will need this referral from your GP prior to your appointment.

Sessions are charged at $193.99 per hour. This is made up of 45 minutes face-to-face intervention and 15 minutes note writing. There may be an extra fee for travel. Assessment fees include a report. Please enquire with us about assessment prices.
