Prestons Speech Pathology is a mobile, paediatric, speech therapy service for children aged 0-10.
We come to you; at your house, child’s school, preschool or via telehealth services.
Managing your child's therapy within their natural environment allows us to gain valuable insights into their daily life, while creating a more comfortable and nurturing space for them to grow and thrive.

I’m Lukshini; a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist based in Sydney, with a passion for helping children discover the power of communication.
Throughout my career I’ve worked within a range of
different settings including community health centres,
private practice, not-for-profit organisations, childcare centres and schools (as both an educator and teacher in training).
I believe therapy should not only be evidence-based, but also an engaging, positive experience for the child and their family.
That’s why I’m passionate about providing a holistic,
family centred approach to therapy; involving not only
the child and the immediate family, but also other health professionals and educators in order to have the best outcomes in all contexts.

Rebates and FundingMedicare Medicare offers a rebate for 5 sessions per calendar year. You will need to talk to your GP to see if your child is eligible for a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan. Private Health Depending on your level of cover, you may be eligible for a rebate on Speech therapy services. Please consult your health fund to discuss this. NDIS funding Prestons Speech Pathology is able to see Plan Managed and Self Managed clients with NDIS funding.

Do I need a referral?You do not need a referral to see a Speech Pathologist. If your child is eligible for a CDM plan (see rebates and funding), you will need this referral from your GP prior to your appointment.

How much does it cost?Sessions are charged at $193.99 per hour. This is made up of 45 minutes face-to-face intervention and 15 minutes note writing. There may be an extra fee for travel. Assessment fees include a report. Please enquire with us about assessment prices.
